Hakuro’s Fourth Charity exhibition to aid the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake recovery

Since the year after the earthquake, Gyokusenji Zen temple and Hakuro have held the charity exhibition every two years at Gyokusenji Zen temple in Ome.
Part of the admission fee and the sales of small paintings will be donated to the affected prefecture, Miyagi, Fukushima, and Iwate prefectural government for the recovery.

The last exhibition raised 630,000 yen in donations to Iwate prefectural government.
For this exhibition, the donations will be sent to Miyagi prefectural government.

This March, around one hundred of Hakuro’s ink wash paintings will be shown in Gyokusenji Zen temple.
Sakura cherry blossoms will be fully blooming in Gyokusenji Zen temple during the exhibition.
